New Zealand Wine Festivals in the Shoulder Season

New Zealand has quickly become one of the world’s top wine regions, known for its unique and flavorful wines. In spring (September–November), the buds take off, with grapes appearing and then ripening through the summer (December–February) to be ready for the harvest in autumn (March–May).

There are many wine regions to explore, each with its distinct character and charm. For example, Marlborough is famous for its Sauvignon Blanc, while Hawke’s Bay is known for its Bordeaux-style blends. The Chardonnay Affair 2023in Gisborne, May 26-28, and held to coincide with International Chardonnay Day on May 25th, The Chardonnay Affair is a celebration of all things Chardonnay on the East Coast of New Zealand.
